The Afghan Carpet Stall
Designed a fluid, open exhibition stall for Afghan Carpets, blending traditional rug-making heritage with modern aesthetics to create a welcoming space at the Expo Center for seamless exploration.

The Afghan Carpets Exhibition Stall was envisioned as an immersive showcase at the Expo Center, designed to represent the brand’s legacy while appealing to a contemporary audience. The concept focused on fluidity and openness, ensuring visitors could navigate the space seamlessly without encountering intrusive barriers. This openness created a welcoming environment that invited exploration and discovery. Drawing inspiration from Afghan rug-making traditions, the design incorporated subtle cultural cues, textures, and motifs that paid homage to centuries-old craftsmanship. Every element was curated to strike a balance between heritage and modernity, using clean lines and minimal structural obstructions to highlight the carpets as the true centerpiece. The overall atmosphere reflected both elegance and authenticity, creating a memorable visitor experience that celebrated the artistry and cultural significance of Afghan carpets.

The spatial layout was meticulously planned to guide visitors naturally through the exhibit, creating a visual and physical journey that told the story of Afghan Carpets. Display zones were organized to feature signature collections prominently while allowing free movement, ensuring no area felt isolated or overlooked. Lighting played a critical role in the design, with warm tones enhancing the texture and vibrancy of each carpet, while accent lighting drew attention to intricate patterns and details. Modern furniture elements were chosen sparingly to maintain focus on the products yet offered comfortable seating for meaningful brand engagement. The design successfully bridged traditional rug-making heritage with contemporary exhibition aesthetics, delivering a dynamic and culturally rich environment. Visitors left with a deeper appreciation of the craftsmanship, while the open, flowing layout encouraged longer stays, higher engagement, and stronger brand recall.
