A Balanced Urban Vision
Reimagining F-11 Markaz with high-rise mixed-use blocks that enhance flow and density, while preserving its green, open character for inclusive, forward-looking growth.

This project reimagines F-11 Markaz through an innovative lens introducing high-rise buildings within the existing commercial zones, while preserving the green spaces that give the area its unique character. The goal was to densify smartly without compromising the openness that the community values. By placing the high rises within the already active commercial blocks, the design builds on existing circulation patterns, ensuring a natural flow of people and activity. I focused on enhancing pedestrian movement, integrating efficient pathways, and proposing mixed-use high-rises that bring vertical vibrancy to the skyline. Green pockets are preserved and layered throughout the site — at ground level, on podiums, and rooftops so that breathing spaces remain accessible and meaningful. The design respects how people already use and love the open spaces, keeping them central to the new layout. This project reminded me that thoughtful design should evolve with a place and its people, not erase what they value. It’s about growth that feels natural, inclusive, and forward-looking.
