Sang-e-Mah
A modular marble light that merges traditional design with smart controls, offering adjustable ambient and task lighting through a refined cultural lens.

Sang-e-Mah is a modular lighting design that blends regional identity with modern minimalism. Crafted from marble, its clean rectilinear form allows natural veining to softly diffuse light, creating a calm, functional presence. The name, meaning "stone of the moon," reflects the subdued glow that emanates through the material, offering a visual connection to its cultural roots. Inspired by traditional roshandaan grids, the integrated brass components serve both structural and aesthetic purposes. These details create a quiet dialogue between heritage and contemporary form without overpowering the design. The upper lighting module can be manually adjusted to shift the direction of light, allowing the product to serve both ambient and task-based needs while retaining its sculptural integrity.

Sang-e-Mah supports three lighting modes—bright white for focus, warm white for general use, and a soft ambient glow for relaxation. Each mode responds to everyday needs while highlighting the natural translucency of the marble. The lighting is controlled through a mobile app, allowing dimming, mode switching, and coordination between multiple units from a single interface. This integration makes it suitable for a variety of modern living spaces where both mood and utility matter. By merging tactile materials with responsive technology, Sang-e-Mah becomes more than a fixture—it becomes a quiet anchor in the room, offering light that adapts to its user while staying grounded in material authenticity.
